How many cyber challenges are available on the XP Cyber Range?

The XP Cyber Range currently has over 140 unique hands-on cyber workforce challenges. The challenges are derived from tasks outlined in the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework and the NICE Framework, focusing on the essential skills required for the most in-demand work roles in the cybersecurity field.

Each of these challenges takes place in one of our challenge environments, each of which includes a fictional organization, fictional characters acting as co-workers, and a complex set of virtual machines and networks that comprise the organization’s digital operations.

At this time, we have four different challenge environments, including:

• DASWebs Inc. (Web Development Company)
• Pretty Safe Electronics (Electronics Retailer)
• Zapp Public Power (Power Utility Company)
• Threat Sandbox (Specialized Purple Team Sandbox Environment)

Note: The Threat Sandbox challenge environment does not contain a single organization’s digital operations and instead is a dynamic environment that contains subsets of a variety of other businesses’ digital operations depending on the challenge being completed in it.
