If you have an account on the XP Cyber Range, your username and a temporary password should have been sent to your official educational/organizational email address (e.g., professor@college.edu, student@univ.edu, student001@highschool.us, teacher@highschool.org).
The XP Cyber Range sends this email from the email address: no-reply@xpcyber.com
You may need to search your email account's spam or clutter folders to find the email, as these emails can end up in those folders by mistake.
If you know the email address used to create your account, you can always use the XP Cyber Range Password Reset Form to receive an email containing your username and a link to reset your password.
XP Cyber Range Username Format: {institutional shortcode}-{provided email username}
XP Cyber Range Username Example: univ-jane.doe002 (created for email address jane.doe002@student.univ.edu)
Note: Institutional shortcodes are usually the domain of the educational institution (i.e., univ for student.univ.edu) or {domain}.k12 for K-12 educational institutions (i.e., highschool.k12 for highschool.us or highschool.org); however, this is not always the case.
If You Are a Student
Your XP Cyber Range Player account is created when your educator/curator (e.g., professor or teacher) creates your account using your official educational/organizational email address.
If you have not received an email from the XP Cyber Range via the email address "no-reply@xpcyber.com" with your username and temporary password, please get in touch with your educator/curator to see what email address they provided for you. It is possible your educator/curator provided us with an email address you were not expecting or accidentally provided an email address for you that had a typo in it.
You may contact support via the XP Cyber Support Portal as a last resort. However, support agents can only provide you with your account details if you contact them from the email address associated with your account. Our support agents will not create new player/student accounts; that can only be done by your educator/curator.
If You Are an Educator
Our support agents create your XP Cyber Range Curator account once you finish the Curator account request process on the XP Cyber Support Portal. This process can be started by filling out the form at the bottom of the main XP Cyber website. The official educational/organizational email address (e.g., professor@college.edu, teacher@highschool.org) used to start this process is the one that will be used to create your Curator account.
If you have completed the Curator account request process and have not received an email from the XP Cyber Range via the email address "no-reply@xpcyber.com" with your username and temporary password, please get in touch with support via the XP Cyber Support Portal.
